In-Reach

Our in-reach hospitality, caring, and sharing efforts include:

  • Fellowship
  • Java with Jesus (Coffee)
  • Dinners
  • Funerals/Memorial refreshments and meals
  • HUGS ministry
  • Health & Wellness ministry
  • Prayer ministry
  • Prayer Shawl ministry
  • Stephen Ministry - Specially trained Stephen Ministers offer support to members during difficult family/personal situations and transitions. To be put in touch with a trained Stephen Minister, please contact Julie Kendrick at: julie.kendrick@messiah-wauconda.org

In-Reach Events include:

  • Annual Lenten Projects
  • Healthy Snack Drive

Outreach

Our community outreach efforts include:

  • Quilting ministry
  • The Community Meal
  • Senior & Shut-in Lunches
  • Freezer meals
  • Good Samaritan ministry (Backpack Drive, Diaper Drive, Sock Drive, Christmas Giving Tree, Pet Supply Drive) 

Outreach Events include:

  • Community Caring Garden
  • Feed My Starving Children (FMSC)
